Last week Miss Odessa Rose turned 1. That's right we managed to survive our first year of her life with our sanity relatively intact. My little girl looks so big now! She is starting to lose that baby look, yes Paul you are right she's looking more and more like a kid. It makes me sad to see that she is starting to lose some of her chubblies.

I'm not really sure what to expect over the next year as she approaches 2. I would like more giggles, big cutie-pie smiles and an uncontrolled flow of words. I'm hoping that her table manners will improve significantly and that she will one day say "Mommy I am done with diapers! I'm a big girl now and will use the potty perfectly and never have an accident." From me she will get lots of hugs and kisses and blows on her tummy. Hopefully mommy will keep her cool and not get too upset when she does all the things that toddlers do to drive their parents nuts.

Oh chubbly mommy loves you so much it hurts her heart.

So... Florida. I admit it's not so bad, if you don't mind having to drive everywhere, including the park! I'm warming up to being here. Still not to big on being in a not-so-pedestrian-friendly-area but it is what it is.

Odessa is walking. I am chasing.
I start classes in the fall. Part-time for now. One day I'll graduate and be gainfully employed.
I'm not sure how it happened but I'm a stay at home mom. Who'd a thunk it.
Odessa is not even a year old yet but she's already been asked to be a flower girl at two wedding this year. She's cute and she knows it too.
I am tired but do I take a nap while Odessa is napping? Of course not, I am foolish.
Thank goodness for coffee makers with thermal carafes.

After living in our brand spanking new condo for only a year we have to move out of it... to Florida. That's right we are moving out of New England to warmer climes. I hate moving but we will hire professional movers and get the full service. I won't have to pack anything! JD wants this to be as stress free as possible for me. Bless is heart, our last move was a nightmare and that was without and infant.

Here I am 32 weeks pregnant and all I can think about is that in 8 more weeks I'll be able to eat sushi again. I'm not afraid of laboring, I am afraid of having to get a c-section. I won't be requesting an epidural or any drugs. I have complete faith that JD will be a great help while I'm laboring. I am not worried that I will have a hard time breastfeeding. I'm not even concerned about how long labor might be. All I know is that in the end I'll be holding my baby and hopefully soon after stuffing my face with tuna nigiri.

Photographic evidence that there exists a Trish who is 32 weeks preggo. I didn't think that I would ever take photos of my belly but it's hard to resist the request of a friend.

At 32 weeks pregnant I:
-experience hip pain while sleeping
-pee a lot (big surprise)
-am still chasing the cat around the house trying to get it to stop jumping on counters and the kitchen table
-annoy my husband with my eating habits
-missing sushi
-waiting for my belly button to "pop"
-can now belch with the best of them (Where did all this gas come from?)

The Adventure Quest team has at long last come out with their video short. YATTA! YEAH! WHOOPEE!

If you too would like to slay undead and team up with Artix von Krieger have a go at DargonFable.

Highlights since my last post:
- We've settled into our new home and are loving it.
- I have a 20 minute walk to class.
- She-Ra and Raz are a cat couple. They lick each other, to me that consummates their relationship.
- I am 19 weeks pregnant.

Raz Matahari likes to be on the move and exploring.She-Ra is shy right now but is coming out more and more. For only having them for two days I think they are doing rather well.
Soooo.... JD and I moved into a condo in Lowell,MA about two months ago. We love our new home and are happy to be in it. We also decieded to adopt a cat. We looked on petfinder.com to check out some of our options. I was interested in a female calico named Kitty she was older and declawed and a fat cat. JD didn't like the looks of her on the website. We agreed to go to the Lowell Humane Society on Saturday to check out the kitties. Long story short we not only got Kitty and renamed her She-Ra we adopted a tiger named Raz. He is now known as Raz Matahari and is insanely adventurous and fearless. We've had him for two days and he's already out of the safe room. She-Ra is another story she has been coming out of her hiding spots but definitely needs to explore further when Raz is not going to be around to hinder her. They are getting along ok, meaning they haven't brawled, but it would be nice for the growling and hissing to be less frequent.

Woo Hoo the last box has left plainfield and we are turning in the keys by the end of this week. Next mission is to unpack all the boxes. Nine years of stuff doesn't easily find a new home. *sigh*

Last night we went to Newbury Comics and purchased some CD's. We haven't done that in quiet a while. I was determined to get some Johnny Cash. Yes I like Johnny Cash. I'm not sure when it happened but I really like When the Man Comes Around. It's just good.

Let's see I've finished Adams skull sweater, knit myself some pants and am restarting a top down raglan sweater. I wasn't going to but after talking to Brandy about it over sushi last night I'm going to be adding short rows to it. I need a "boob pocket" as Brandy calls it. She's right short rows are my friend. I've knit myself sweaters and haven't worn them because they fit all funky. Damn it that most freaking patterns are written for those who are not overly boobie.
